TV shopping

I’m seriously considering buying a flat screen TV. I’ve read very little about them so far but it looks like plasmas are better for rooms that are darker. The room I use for TV is pretty small. It is actually the second bedroom in my condo but I’ve always used it as a TV room/library. The distance between where you sit and the TV is also a consideration. I’m not that far. I currently sit a bit less than 7′ from my TV. There is also the guilt factor. My current TV is perfectly fine but I can’t ever use Apple TV. I don’t own Apple TV but it appeals to me and I want it some day. I know that’s not a great reason to get a new TV but I think I’m just ready to move on. I believe a 32″ would work out. My current TV is a 27″ so 32″ sounds like a logical upgrade. I’m still thinking about it…
