I’m really looking forward to the ALA conference in Chicago. I leave July 10. I didn’t go to the conference last year so this will be great. I can’t wait to hear about technology use in libraries and presentations on media center programs. The exhibits will be great as usual and I hope to see one or two of the auditorium speakers. Maybe I will see you there!

I got a look at the Palm Pre

Yesterday I finally got to check out the Palm Pre. I didn’t work with it for very long because the Sprint store was sweltering hot – they even had the door propped open. But, even though I only spent a little time with the Pre I like it. Since I am on Sprint it is worth a switch from the Centro to the Pre. If I get one I will let you know how I like it.
PS – I saw Up! yesterday and it was excellent. Poignant and funny. The Pixar animation is great.

A friend brought this video to my attention and I urge you to watch it. It just plain makes me feel good to watch it.
I think next weekend I will check out the Palm Pre. I may very well come home with one! I am on the Sprint family plan already so that is no problem. The Pre looks great and I really want one. If you have one please let us know how you like it.
