Computers in Libraries Conference: Washington D.C.

I’m in Washington D.C. attending the Computers in Libraries Conference and I’m really enjoying the content. Yesterday, the keynote speaker, Chris Sherman, talked about search engines and if you want to hear about some of the features he mentioned listen to my podcast by clicking here.

The speakers have been very good at this conference. I’ve heard a lot about blogs, wikis, podcasts, databases, etc. If possible, I will put some links up next week so that you can check out some of the great sites I’ve heard about in the last two days.

There are approximately 2,400 conference attendees including full conference registrants, exhibit only attendees and vendors. It’s interesting to be at a conference where everyone is excited about these technologies and tools.
