New U.S. Poet Laureate Named

The Boston Globe reports that Pulitzer Prize winning poet Charles Simic will be the new U.S. Poet Laureate. Simic taught at the University of New Hampshire for 34 years. In 1990 he won the Pulitzer Prize in poetry for his book of poems: “The World Doesn’t End.”
